The Real So Cal GU16 ladies are living up to a long standing tradition of Real So Cal soccer success as they compete this year in the Premier league and the Elite Clubs National League. The origin and core of this Team can be traced back to their So Cal United roots when they we were only 10 years old. At the heart of this Team is a rare combination of camaraderie, mutual trust, and poise. These attributes manifest themselves in a mental approach to the game, and a belief system, which breeds success and establishes an extremely high standard for peak individual performance, unselfish Team play, and sportsmanship. Perhaps the most often heard outsider observations of this Team include words like tenacious, relentless, skilled, and disciplined. They sport ten ODP pool players with several advancing to the regional and national level. In 2008, they were Surf Cup finalists. In 2007 and 2010 they were National Cup finalists. But it was in 2009 that they put it all together to win Manchester Nike Premier Cup followed by a once in a lifetime Gothia Cup (Youth World Cup) Championship in Sweden. All players have college aspirations and the potential to play at the Division I level. They are always in the hunt independent of the competitive level.
