Dear WVSL/Real So Cal Families,
WVSL believes it is very important to bring a sense of normalcy back to the lives of our kids and families. Getting back to playing soccer when it is deemed safe, is our goal. We are committed to getting our program back up and running as soon as it is allowed. We are committed to playing into the months of June and July if necessary to complete our season. Once we receive notice it is safe,
we will reset dates of play.
We hope everyone is safe during this difficult time. Much like you, we are continuously receiving new information by the day (and in certain cases by the hour) related to COVID-19. Since our last communication we have now received confirmation that all of our participating leagues have suspended all competition. In addition, schools, businesses and other organizations are temporarily closed.
Things have certainly escalated since we made the original decision to suspend all club events through March 22nd. Based on the current and evolving declared state of emergency, we have been actively working on program, calendar and administrative adjustments to not only accommodate social distancing but also in preparation for our athletes and club to resume all WVSL/RSC soccer activities as soon as we are cleared to do so by all Public Health and Safety Officials.
We are committed to providing you with as much support as possible during this time and are coming up with some unique methods to deliver that support. We have recently launched a Real So Cal You Tube Channel for you to access online training, workout videos and RSC soccer content. Please subscribe to receive updates and notifications.
We will be sending out another important communication regarding administrative and registration information in the near future.
We would like to thank all of you for your patience and your continued support. We are doing all that we can to take care of our players, families and staff. #WeAreRSC.
