Real So Cal Accepted Into Elite Clubs National League
MILWAUKEE, Wis. (March 3, 2010) From nearly 60 clubs that applied for membership, the ECNL Board of Directors recommended 12 new clubs for membership in the Elite Clubs National League (ECNL). The ECNL member clubs approved these recommendations, increasing the number of member clubs to 52 for the 2010-11 season.

Two RSC Players Chosen in Women's Professional League Draft
Congratulations to Ali Riley (Stanford University, So Cal United 05-06) for being selected the 10th overall pick in the Women’s Professional League (WPS), going to FC Gold Pride. Also selected as the 4th pick of the 3rd round was Kelsey Davis (University of Portland, So Cal United, Blazers 97-05) going to the Chicago Red Stars. Real So Cal wishes both of these outstanding young women all the best going forward as professional’s. Congratulations again to Ali and Kelsey and their families!

GU-11 White Takes CSL League Cup With Impressive Run
The girls under 11 white team coached by Scott Murray took home the CSL League Cup with an immpressive run against the top four finishers in the CSL league season. In pool play the 11’s defeated South Bay Gunners from the Bronze Zeta division 4-1 and Los Gauchos from Bronze Gamma 2-0.

RSC G18 Wins Fall Far West Regional League
Congratulations to Kristy Walker’s G18 team for winning Fall Far West Regional League this weekend and securing a spot in the Regional Championships that will be held in New Mexico in June 2010. The 3 game/4 team pool highlighted 2 teams from Southern California, one from Nor Cal and one from Arizona.

Real So Cal White G18 team wins California Premier League North South Championship
The Real So Cal White GU18 team, coach by Kristy Walker, won the California Premier League North/South Championship last weekend. The Championship game was a rematch with the GU19 Coast Premier 1st place team, Laguna Hills Eclipse, which ended in favor of RSC 1-0. RSC ended the weekend scoring 8 goals and 0 goals against in 3 games. This weekend the team is headed to Temecula for Round 2 of the Fall Far West Regional League and then Surf Cup Thanksgiving weekend.
Real So Cal White B19 team wins California Premier League North South Championship
The Real So Cal White BU-19 team won the California Premier League North South Championship this weekend, and thereby defended their title won last year in the BU-17 division. The Championship pits the top two Premier finishers from Southern California (CSL Premier) against their counterparts from Northern California Premier League. The Back to Back Real So Cal Boys won or tied 27 of 28 games in all CSL Premier and Premier Championship competitions over the past two seasons. Congratulations; way to go boys! Best of luck in the US Soccer Academy season which launches over Thanksgiving weekend!

The U.S. will open Group E play in Kano, Nigeria against Spain on Oct. 26, at 7 p.m. local time (2 p.m. ET). The team will stay at Sani Abacha Stadium to play Malawi on Oct. 29 at 4 p.m. (11 a.m. ET) before moving to Ijebu-Ode and Gateway International Stadium to finish the first round against United Arab Emirates on Nov. 1 at 4 p.m. (10 a.m. ET). All three of the American’s group games will be televised live on ESPNU and Galavision.
