Scott (Soupy) Hunter
Coach


BIO:
Soup was raised in Arlington, Texas where he played for the Storm Soccer Club. He went on to play at the California State University, Northridge where he was a member of the Division II National Championship Finalist (‘88.) He then went on to play two years professionally in the USISL with the Valley Golden Eagles (’93-’94.)

Soup has coached at various levels: club, high school, and collegiate. He was a Graduate Assistant with the men’s programs at Cal State Northridge (‘93,) and followed that up with one year at Moorpark Junior College as an assistant coach. He coached the girls’ programs for four years at Chaminade High School and one year at Notre Dame HS. Soup has been coaching club soccer since 1994, and at all levels from Premier down, concentrating mostly on the girl’s side.
Soup holds a USSF National “D” License and a B.S. in Environmental Health and works for the Los Angeles County Health Department since 1996.
Soup resides in Simi Valley with his wife, Mitch, and daughter, Kelsey.
